Build classroom environments with connection, access, and belonging.
Developing Inclusive Classrooms
A 10-week coaching series that helps school teams build classroom environments where connection, access, and belonging are woven into daily practice—for every learner.
Overview
This strand is for schools committed to transforming classroom practice in ways that affirm identity, honor student voice, and ensure equitable access to learning. Together, we engage in reflection and re-design—looking closely at how mindsets, systems, and instruction shape student experience.
Our approach centers real change: the kind that supports both personal growth and sustainable shifts across classrooms and grade teams. Whether you are beginning this work or seeking to deepen it, we meet you where you are and move forward together.
What This Strand Focuses On
Each session is grounded in practical tools, real-world application, and reflective practice. Areas of focus include:
Identity work and interdependence in the classroom
Learner variability and inclusive instructional design
Student agency, choice, and voice
Assessment practices rooted in reflection and growth
Systems that make inclusion sustainable and scalable
Co-teaching and collaboration as equity practices
What to Expect
This coaching series runs over 10 weeks, including live sessions, applied learning prompts, and real-time application. It is tailored to your school’s current context and readiness level.
Our time includes:
A collaborative kickoff meeting to assess your starting point and goals
Ten coaching sessions (spaced based on your team’s capacity)
Reflective assignments between sessions to guide action
Data-gathering touchpoints
A final reflection session with planning for future steps
Where Are You Starting?
Each school begins by identifying its current stage in the work. We define this together in our initial consultation:
Beginning: Classroom systems may be emerging or inconsistent. Some team members are actively exploring inclusive practice.
Developing: Inclusive practices are becoming consistent across classrooms, and alignment is growing school-wide.
Deepening: Practices are fully embedded, and the focus shifts to reflection, refinement, and greater impact on student experience.
Who Should Participate
Each coaching series supports a team of 5–8 individuals from your school or district. This may include:
Lead teachers or grade-level teams
Instructional coaches or special educators
School leaders focused on teaching and learning
Team members committed to leading equity work from the classroom up
We’ll collaborate with you to select a team best positioned to move this work forward.
