Family Engagement and Programming Course

This course is for a combination school-site/parent group who wants to consider ways to develop stronger family communities of belonging at their school site.  Prioritizing community building as foundational to the development of authentic school communities, we see families as essential members of that. 

Goals:

Family engagement team will:

  • understand the foundational components of the INTENT framework.

  • develop family programming aligned with the INTENT framework in a way that connects to and supports their unique school community.

  • will receive support around language, approach, and implementation of intentional community building with families and authentic engagement.

Logistics:

  • The six sessions below are approximately 90-120 minutes each. 

  • Participants must be able to attend all sessions and commit to doing work in between sessions.

  • These sessions are designed for 3-6 participants, if more members are part of the leadership team, this will impact the pricing.

Prior to the sessions outlined below, there will be a meeting with the project liaison at the school/organization site to determine the entry point for the leadership team and develop a deeper understanding of the site.  At the culmination of the sessions, there will be a reflection meeting with the project liaison to determine a plan of action for next steps.
