Shirin Mostaghim Jones 

Shirin Mostaghim Jones has over a decade of experience as a professional digital marketer and advertiser. She began her career at Google in the early days of their online advertising development, and since then has helped multiple brands and organizations connect with new and existing audiences to meet their marketing goals. Through strategic campaign builds, targeted advertising, content and copy creation, website audits and more, Shirin has created results-focused digital strategies that connect people to brands.

First introduced to Roots ConnectED through the Family Workshop series, she believes that its approach to schooling could bring about the change she wants in schools, and society. As the Social Media, Marketing and Communications Developer at Roots ConnectED, Shirin supports sharing Roots ConnectED's programming with new and existing networks, manages outward facing social media and marketing, and deepens partnerships to share Roots ConnectED thought leadership. While she strives to raise her two children to be friend-makers and bridge-builders in society, she also finds hope in the work she does for Roots ConnectED and is so happy to bring her professional skills to work that is change-making.
