Dan Uress is a technological entrepreneur who has focused on the color accuracy of consumer packaged goods for over 20 years. In 2009, he co-founded the development of a new software application to simplify color measurement and communicate accuracy to stakeholders. In 2024, his company was acquired and Dan joined a global commercial team to drive the continued success and growth of his product. As of October 2026, Dan accepted a Director role within his new organization to develop integrated solutions for large enterprise customers.

Before starting his company, he earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Entrepreneurship and Management, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2004.

Dan joins Roots ConnectED to help foster the capabilities of educators to better connect with their students and communities. Dan feels extremely fortunate to have been the beneficiary of many outstanding educators who far exceeded their responsibilities to contribute to his success.
