As the Marketing and Communications Support at Roots ConnectED, Leila supports the organization’s work and the impact of its programs. Whether highlighting community voices, shaping digital content, or helping ideas reach new audiences, she enjoys finding meaningful ways to connect people with our mission.

With experience facilitating collaboration in classrooms, Leila has worked closely with students to create an environment that encouraged identity-building, where trust was foundational. She understands the support needed in teaching environments, and hopes to connect educators with the resources Roots ConnectED offers that will help them in their journey to build belonging.

Leila joined Roots ConnectED because it allows her to engage with education in a supportive role, where she can connect teaching networks with a dedicated team that is ready to help.
