Leadership Course

This course is designed for leadership teams to more deeply consider an anti-bias and equity lens to their work.  It builds space for mindset shifts and intentional changes to foundational practices. 

Goals:

School leaders will:

  • understand the foundational components of anti-bias education and its implications for school culture and curriculum.

  • engage in mindset work to strengthen existing values and establish a correlation between the school’s values and being an anti-bias school community.

  • develop language to describe and  evaluate structures and systems connected to institutional practices, and communication centered in equity and justice.

Logistics:

  • The six sessions below are approximately 90-120 minutes each  

  • Participants must be able to attend all sessions and commit to doing work in between sessions

  • These sessions are designed for 3-6 participants, if more members are part of the leadership team, this will impact the pricing

Prior to the sessions outlined below, there will be a meeting with the project liaison at the school/organization site to determine the entry point for the leadership team and develop a deeper understanding of the site.  At the culmination of the sessions, there will be a reflection meeting with the project liaison to determine a plan of action for next steps.
