Rodnell Workman

Rodnell Workman is a marketing, communications, and business development leader with more than two decades of experience shaping brands and driving growth across the sports, entertainment, consumer, healthtech, and nonprofit sectors. He has held senior executive roles with nationally recognized organizations including the New York Road Runners (operators of the TCS New York City Marathon), the New York Racing Association (the largest horse racing association in the US), Health Monitor Network, and the National Football League (both the League and its New York Giants franchise).

His passion for education, equity, and community is what drew him to Roots ConnectED and its mission. As a cancer survivor, mentor, and advocate for youth, Rodnell is committed to using his expertise to help organizations align purpose with impact and expand opportunities for the next generation.

In addition to leading marketing and business development at the highest levels, Rodnell has advised commercial and purpose-driven organizations through his consultancy, MarketingWORK Advisors. He is also a published thought leader, public speaker, and former adjunct professor, with a deep commitment to mentoring emerging professionals and creating inclusive, mission-aligned cultures.

Rodnell earned his BA in Broadcast/Cable (Telecommunications) from the Pennsylvania State University’s Bellisario College of Communications.
